Gill Dolan is a Clinical Psychologist who has experience working with older adolescents and adults across the lifespan. She has worked in private practice, in not for profit organisations, hospital settings, aged care facilities, and within the community, in both a professional and voluntary capacity. Gill provides psychological assessment and intervention to individuals and couples, as well as groups.

Gill utilises a number of interventions, including cognitive behaviour therapy, metacognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal therapy, solutions focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. She particularly enjoys using schema therapy to assist individuals change long-standing patterns of behaviour that are detracting from their overall well-being. Gill has a particular interest in PTSD, complex trauma and dissociative disorders, as well as family of origin issues that have contributed to the development of depression and anxiety.
Gill is also an experienced EMDR therapist and has undertaken Master Class level training, both in Australia and the USA, in the use of EMDR to treat a range of experiences that have left the individual traumatised and overwhelmed. Gill is also interested in teaching people skills that help rewire the brain and build resilience.
